Help is easier to find when we work together.

Operation Better Together connects youth, caregivers, schools, courts, healthcare providers, and local organizations so families can reach the right support without navigating the system alone.

Did you know?

Approximately 1 in 6 youth aged 6–17 experience a mental health disorder each year in the United States. Despite the prevalence of mental health issues, nearly 50% of youth with mental health disorders did not receive treatment in the past year. Barriers to treatment include lack of access, stigma, and insufficient awareness.

Operation Better Together aims to address these barriers by providing more access, a safe and judgment-free space, and increased community awareness of the mental health needs of youth in our community.

A community-wide approach

One place to start. A whole community ready to help.

Families should not have to make call after call to find care. OBT brings local services together so support can be coordinated around the needs of each child and family.

  • Behavioral health support in schools and community locations
  • Connections to healthcare, employment, housing, education, and family services
  • Care coordination across agencies and systems
  • Local people helping local people
